NYC's Upper West Side heats up for corporate incentives

Corporate incentive groups looking for trendy areas in Manhattan and Brooklyn for destination meetings might want to check out what has been going on in the Upper West Side.

A key component for many groups is a hotel with a sense of style and the hot new boutique, NYLO, certainly fits the bill.  From its hanging lights, rooftop, metal doors, ridiculously comfortable beds and highly fashionable dining and lounge options, the NYLO is the latest in a trend throughout New York City and the trend-setter in the Upper West Side.

The entire neighborhood, considered luxurious for years by locals, is in the middle of a cultural and dining renaissance.  New, exciting restaurants have opened up all along Columbus Avenue.  Lincoln Center is hosting major shows like Fashion Week and are bringing in theater performances that rival almost anything on Broadway.  The New York Ballet, also at Lincoln Center, is one of the hottest tickets in town and the Museum of Natural History is just a short walk away.
