"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe in flight from "Innishmaan" to Broadway

Harry Potter series star is returning to Broadway in Tony-Award winner Michael Grandage's critically-acclaimed West End production of Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan. In fact, the entire cast from London is joining him!  The production is running on a limited engagement from April 12 through July 20. Opening night is April 20, and because the eligibility cut-off date for Tony nominations is April 24, we are thinking this production knows it has something special.

Based on the remote island of Inishmaan off the west coast of Ireland, rumor has it that a Hollywood film is being made on the neighboring island of Inishmore. The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is young "Cripple Billy" (Radcliffe), as he sees this opportunity as his best chance to break away from the life he finds tedious and boring.

Radcliffe made his Broadway debut in Peter Shaffer’s Equus and returned to Broadway in 2011 for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
